Faux Gilded Bamboo

Gilding the replicated bamboo quickly followed, and the design aesthetic of Gilded Bamboo has remained a classic staple of classic decorators to this day.

Dorothy Draper, Mark Hampton, and Tony Duquette certainly knew the value of a pop of gilded gold, and the tradition continues with contemporary decorators, such as Michael S.
