Eglomise Nesting Tables

A process dating back to Pre-Roman times, Verre eglomise (pronounced egg-low-meese-ay) is a process by which glass is back-painted with silver or gold metal leaf. The effect is a mirror-like finish. The name for the finish comes from Jean-Baptiste Glomy, a French decorator from the 18th century who is credited with re-popularizing it.
